This page is dedicated to the things that I love. Not like husbands or dogs or cats, but things that I love because they make my life better in some small way. Many are items that I use in my kitchen or elsewhere in my house that make my life easier, save time, or improve a certain process. In short, it's a product review page, of sorts.
I will name the product, appliance, article of clothing, etc. and tell you whether or not it
really lives up to the advertisements that describe that product. If you've also purchased or owned one of these products, please feel free to post a comment to share your opinion.

My good friend, "The Wonder Mill" is electric, has three different settings including
"pastry", "bread", and "coarse". I use it all the time to grind white rice into flour for my
gluten-free baking. The mill is easy to use, cleans up quickly and is a quality product. Within ten
minutes, the mill can grind a gallon Zip-loc bag of white rice into a full container of pastry flour.
We've been using this mill for several years now with great results and have never had a problem
with the mechanics of it all. (Although it will not grind "oily" grains such as brown rice or flax, it will
grind other "dry" grains like wheat.) |

My P-Touch labeler that we purchased from Costco. It is a necessity for many things that I do.
Since I'm a bit of a control freak, you might guess that I have lots of things in my house that are labeled.
For those of us who can, dry, or freeze our garden bounty, this labeler is a "must have". I type in the
name of the item and the date the food was preserved. This makes rotation of our food stock easy so
that the oldest food gets consumed first. (AND the labeler has a "function" button that lets you choose
font size, underline, frames around the words...I love the little flower frame...as well as several other functions.) |

Lazy Susans! These are the best things for your kitchen cabinets! They make anything in your
cabinet accessible. If your kitchen cabinets do not have them built in, you can purchase the smaller
versions from almost anywhere...Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart, and often at the Goodwill Store.
Another must have...and I have tons of 'em...are quart jars. I use them to can food, store dried beans or jerky,
and in my craft room to store buttons and other small items. |

Expandable bamboo drawer organizers! Love these things. Mine came from Costco and they work great
in my kitchen drawers. Remember to get the expandable kind, which will expand to fit over-sized drawers.
Turns chaos into organization in no time...and your drawers will stay organized! |

This is my actual drawer at my new "baking center" in the kitchen. I have everything in this
drawer from baking powder, measuring spoons, measuring cups, cookie scoops, and much more.
(I just love it when a drawer comes together!) |
